Multi-Channel Integration
3rd Party Shopping Cart Orders

Generate orders by connecting your Shopify, BigCommerce, Woo, Magento, and more.. so they flow directly into BizAutomation for fulfillment and financial management.

Market-Place Orders

Receive orders from the worlds most popular market places into BizAutomation where you can complete the fulfillment, and all the other business processes that are impacted by transactions.

EDI Orders (850s)

If you need to receive EDI POs (850s), send order and shipping notices back (997s, and 856s), and finally, invoice them (810s) all via EDI, we can make it happen, including the ability to send and receive with hubs such as TrueCommerce and SPS Commerce, with complete order workflow throughout the order cycle.

API, XML, and Imported CSV Orders

BizAutomation has a robust CSV import wizard you can use to import data files into BizAutomation. You can also leverage our REST based API, or use our XML document exchange to automatically connect to BizAutomation to import orders and export pertinent data with 3rd party connection points.

3PL Integration
3PL Integration
Connect to 3rd party (3PL) fulfillment

BizAutomation connects to most 3PLs directly. Full workflow and audit trails are provided without the need for 3rd party software, so you can send ship requests out, exchange confirmation notices, and receive final shipping release (ASNs) from 3PLs. Workflow automation for functions such as allocation release and inventory adjustments keep everything in sync.

Unified Ecommerce (Sold separately) No-Connection = No-Duplication = 1 version of the truth

BizAutomation Ecommerce is a web-store platform that resides on the same database as all the other systems running your business, which means data is shared, not duplicated. This gives it an inherent advantage over other systems such as Shopify and BigCommerce, that have to connect and thus generate data duplication from each connection point.

To help you decide which of the two approaches might best fit your business (we support both) you’ll need to weigh the pros and cons.

Unified Ecommerce

Unified vs Connected Ecommerce

Reasons to consider Unified-Ecommerce

Single version of the truth

Completely eliminates any data duplication because it shares the same data with every part of the business systems you’re already using (assuming you use BizAutomation).

Integration with all aspects of the business

Because BizAutomation developed Ecommerce along side all the other modules, it naturally shares all data relevant to its task. So for example, when you set a marketing promotion it reflects on Ecommerce. Inventory requires a single click and its displayed on Ecommerce (complete with uploaded images setup for Order Mgt.), Put a customer on credit hold and it automatically prevents new orders on the webstore. In this area, it’s just impossible for a connected product to compete.

Custom Code Enhancements

While this is an area more relevant to larger SMBs, it’s worth pointing out that while products such as BigCommerce and Shopify are flexible, they can’t be enhanced at the source code level, any more than you can change the source code on a QuickBooks for example. Custom code enhancements on BizAutomation however ARE possible on a case by case basis. That’s an asset if your needs aren’t fully supported by big Ecommerce, plus it serves as insurance against the “Don’t know what we’ll need until we do” scenarios all businesses go through.

Reasons to remain with Connected-Ecommerce

Need to leverage existing investments

If you’ve already invested large amounts on your Shopify or BigCommerce site, you may not be able to justify a full blown migration to another platform. In this case, you may opt to connect your shopping cart, while consolidating all other business departments within BizAutomation.

Need to connect natively to 3rd party apps

While BizAutomation’s one-system concept is ideal for core-systems, and can integrate with Zapier (which connects it to hundreds of other apps) if needed, it’s not always practical or possible to accommodate all best of breed functionality for non-core needs if a direct connection is called for. Systems such as Shopify and BigCommerce were designed to be connected from day one, and may have advantages in some cases.
